What is circuit Jewelry?
Circuit jewelry is bling made out of old circuit boards. Now you could ask yourself why anyone would want to hang an old piece of hardware around their neck (or pin their hair up with it), but before you do, I suggest you open up your computer and have a look at the parts inside. Isn't that a really nice shade of green? Don't you think the symmetric patterns on the boards are estethic?
` Materials
To make the circuits look nice I decorate them with beads and charms in different materials. Semi-precious stones, glass crystals, plastic beads. I collect the beads and charms from all over the world and whenever I go on a trip I bring more items back.The circuits that I use are usually given to me by friends or colleagues who are getting rid of old computer parts.
Taking care of circuit jewelry
The circuit jewelry you've bought from me is like any other hardware: it doesn't like swimming, so don't wear it in the shower/bath tub, and in order to avoid unnecessary wear and tear I suggest you do not wear it while asleep.Ordering circuit jewelry
All my items are hand-made and nowadays most of them made on demand. If you want to match it to a specific piece of clothing, feel free to enclose a picture of the outfit.Prices are around 20 Euro (around 30 USD) per item for most items (some more complicated items will cost more) plus freight.
